The  Fulbright Association-Chicago Chapter and the International Institute of Education (IIE)  invite you, your family, friends and colleagues to attend our Holiday reception and a cabaret-style concert by Fulbrighter flutist Lyon Leifer (India, 2005-2006) and his special guests.*

Reception: 5:30-6:30 pm
Performance: 6:30 – 7:20 pm and 7:40 pm – 8:30 pm.
Hors d’oeuvres and holiday cheer will be served throughout the performance.

Lyon Leifer, flutist and bansuri player

The cabaret style concert will consist of two sets. *Lyon Leifer has pioneered both Indian classical and Western classical music, and has brought together an exciting ensemble for this performance that includes noted musicians Ron Dewar, tenor saxophone; Rob Clearfield, piano; Patrick Mulcahey, bass; Kalyan Pathak, drum set; Shankachur Lahiri, tabla and Shruti Joshi, tambura.  Each set is intended to go about 40 minutes.
