FULBRIGHT ALUMNA JULIE KOIDIN, an accomplished musician and devoted Brazilian music lover, will present her book Choro Conversations: Pursing Life, Love and Brazil’s Music Identity at the Instituto Cervantes on November 18 at 6:30 p.m.
The Instituto cervantes is located at 31 W. Ohio St. in Chicago.
There will also be a concert by Dois No Choro featuring Julie Koidin, flute; Paulinho Garcia, guitar and vocals, and special guests Linda Binder, mandolin and Heitor Garcia, percussion.
This presentation and concert will be followed by a cheese and wine reception.
