THE CHICAGO CHAPTER of the Fulbright Association invites you, your family, colleagues, and friends to our 2026 Fall Welcome celebration. Join us for an engaging afternoon where you can connect with fellow Fulbrighters, members of our chapter board, newly arrived Fulbright students and visiting scholars, and Friends of Fulbright.
Our event kicks off with a 45-minute Chicago River Architecture Tour aboard one of Wendella’s tour boats where we will explore the beauty of famous architectural landmarks along the river. A limited number of tickets are available, so if you wish to join the boat tour prior to the reception, please RSVP via the links below.
If you wish to join the reception only, it will start at 5:30 p.m. at the Alliance Française of Chicago in River North; separate tickets for the reception are available (see below for more information).

BOAT TOUR LOCATION The address to the docks is 400 N Michigan Avenue Chicago, IL 60611 (near the Wrigley Building at the river level). From there you can check in with a dock employee who can direct you to your boarding area. For further directions click here.
