WITH THIS GREAT weather, there is no better time to meet other Fulbrighters and keep enriching your stay in the United States. The following is a great opportunity:

WHAT A group of Fulbright scholars currently working/studying at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, are visiting Chicago and would like to connect with local Fulbright students and scholars.

WHO Ms. Daniela Anda (Fulbright Graduate Student, Ecuador, Applied Economics,) Mr. Edwin Desintonio (Fulbright Graduate Student, Ecuador, Industrial Engineering,) Mr. Tobias Gulden (Fulbright Graduate Student, Germany, physics – condensed matter,) Ms. Gabriela Urgilez (Fulbright Graduate Student, Ecuador, Applied Economics) and Ms. Aizhan Zhussupova (Fulbright Visiting Scholar, Kazakhstan, Molecular Genetics).

WHEN Wednesday, March 14, 2012. The get-together will start at Navy Pier at 7 p.m.

WHERE Navy Pier –  Located on Lake Michigan, just East of Chicago’s Downtown, Navy Pier has been a Chicago landmark since it first opened in 1916.  Navy Pier now showcases a unique collection of restaurants and shops in addition to unequaled recreational and exhibition facilities.

Then they will go to the Green Mill Cocktail Lounge, a historic venue located on 4802 N. Broadway Ave. in Uptown that opened in 1907. That evening, the Green Mill features ALFONSO PONTICELLI and SWING GITAN, 9pm-1am, $6 cover www.swinggitan.com
